Karri Cup coming up

The Karri Cup MTB Challenge will, as usual, be held on the Labour Day long weekend, March 3 and 4 – 2012. The Karri Cup is one of Western Australia’s largest and longest running mountain bike events and takes place in the Southern Forests around the south west town of Northcliffe.

The course, which encompasses 100 kms among the karri, some of the world’s tallest trees, caters for all ages and abilities with categories for teams and solo riders. On the Saturday afternoon young riders have the opportunity to take part in Australia’s largest mountain bike event for kids.

One of the other compelling reasons to consider taking part is that by participating in this event cyclists are supporting local community groups which provide valuable services to the people of Northcliffe.
